UPSTAGE PLAYERS ~ We Work for the Kids! ~ (216) 862-8892 ~ firstname.lastname@example.org ~ VENUE ADDRESS 17109 Lakeshore Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44110
The Children’s Guild is a registered 501(c)3 organization. We have very little overhead. We do not have a staff or office. Our meetings and work groups are held in our homes. The members make and donate everything for “Creations”. Membership dues help pay for our expenses such as postage and stationery. One hundred percent of all proceeds from our benefits are distributed to Greater Cleveland organizations working with children.
Over the past 75 years, this group of dedicated women has allocated to Cleveland organizations over $1,181,000. We do not give large sums to any one organization and work only with organizations in Greater Cleveland whose budget is under four million dollars. We fill requests such as camp scholarships, music lessons, abuse and bereavement counseling, art therapy, and books and school supplies for child care facilities. Although we receive new requests each year, many organizations have received funding from us for many years.
Sometimes it only takes a little to change the life of a child. We try to help.

Executive Director, UpStage Players
I am pleased to announce that UpStage Players has received another generous grant from the Children's Guild!
Last March I spoke to the Children's Guild regarding UpStage. Our board member, Matt Orgovan, wrote the grant request. And now, I am so pleased to announce that our submission has been approved. The extra surprise is that they included a little extra and the full amount is $2200. for our 2016 show.
Thank you, Children's Guild! The children and families of UpStage Players deeply appreciate your support!

May 2015...UpStage Receives Grant from Children's Guild
Upstage Players is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.
Live Broadway Children's Musical Productions
The Guild began in 1934 when a group of women gathered to help the Cleveland Humane Society, now known as Children’s Services, dress dolls for Christmas. Through the years, The Guild has grown, matured, and kept up with the times but we remain loyal to our dedication of supporting children in Greater Cleveland.
We raise funds by designing and crafting unique items such as home décor, clothing for all ages, gourmet foods, jewelry and other accessories that are available for sale at our annual “Creations” boutique held in October. At previous Creations, we have auctioned trips as well as top-of-the-line apparel and furnishings. All proceeds from this event are then allocated to organizations in Greater Cleveland working with and for children.
