Live Broadway Children's Musical Productions

You like to sing.

You like to dance.

You like being in front of a crowd.

You want to wear a costume.

You want to be seen!

You like working with props on the set of a play.

You like the idea of working with technology: setting up microphones, helping with the lights and sounds to make the production look awesome!

You don't mind being behind stage for the show.

1st STEP -- Attend the Theatre Workshop (highly recommended). This workshop is held annually in December at the Cleveland Public Library located at 17109 Lakeshore Blvd. Practice singing a song from a Broadway musical...

2nd STEP -- Attend open Auditions (mandatory) in early January (date to be determined) at the Cleveland Public Library located at 17109 Lakeshore Blvd.

3rd STEP -- Fill out all necessary forms and read through the UpStage Policies (access these forms from this page).

4th STEP -- Get Your Role! Once you receive your role, get the rehearsal schedule and put the dates on your calendar. Read through the Costume List to see what pieces you will need for your costume.

5th STEP -- Attend practice sessions and  practice every day at home for at least 10 minutes (trust us, it really helps!),

Before you know it, it will be SHOW TIME!
