Joshua Coakley, a former Tech Crew member from productions at St. Jerome, and in the FIRST production at St. Jerome school, "Sing into Spring", played Dan, one of Jacob's 12 sons, was just accepted into IATSE Union for Professional Theatre Carpenters! Hard work pays off-it took 5 years to be accepted!!! He has worked on Young Frankenstein as well as many other Broadway plays. He was joined by his wife, who is an accomplished Broadway actress currently performing in Billy Elliot, at an installation dinner in New York to celebrate his achievement.

Janice Wessner, who played Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar among other roles, went on to graduate with a theatre degree. She put on her first production with her company Bindlepunks to a sold out crowd in February. It was written, rehearsed, and performed in only 24 hours! She has also been recognized for using social media to promote shows and theatre in general at a major Bay Area theatre conference! In addition to Bindlepunks, Janice been getting work as an Assistant Director, Playwright, and Costume Designer. Not only did Janice recently accept the full-time position of House Manager at the San Jose Repertory Theater, but Margaret (who graduated from the Univ of Missouri in December) just started a full-time position as Outreach Coordinator for True North of Columbia, MO, the non-profit organization that runs the women's shelter at which she's been working part-time since last fall. Hooray for daughters who have degrees in "theater" and "feminist"!
