Performing for a live audience develops strong teamwork and leadership skills. UpStage Players also offers leadership opportunities through a cooperative partnership with the Kiwanis Builder's Club.

Amy Steigerwald is an on-air TV reporter at WBNS - 10TV in Columbus. She works on their morning show Monday-Friday reporting on whatever the day brings. Amy was previously a morning show and reporter in Toledo, OH for WTOL 11. Amy was an UpStager from 2004-2010, with some of her favorite roles being The Narrator in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor DreamCoat, Cinderella in Into the Woods, and a Hot Box Girl in Guys and Dolls. Amy credits UpStage for her public speaking skills and her ability to roll with the punches on live TV!
Mary Walsh-Hilf just landed a new position as an actor/teacher at Great Lakes Theare. Congratulations, Mary!
